John M. Solga, 55, of Fort Wayne passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015. He was born on December 8, 1959 to the late Raymond J. and Marciel (Besser) Solga. He worked as a shipping supervisor for Wise Business Forms. He was a past president, board member and committee chairperson at the Southwest Conservation Club. He was an avid Colts fan and outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery, flint knapping, and arrowhead hunting. He will be remembered as a good cook, a great family man, and a mentor to all that he touched. Surviving family include his wife, Jill Solga; children, Megan Solga, Jordan and Adam Donnelly; granddaughters, Brooklynn and Elise Donnelly; siblings, Ray and Richard Solga, and Janie Kennerk. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his siblings, Tony and Chris Stanton, Carol, James, and Steve Solga. A funeral service will be 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne with a gathering of friends and family beginning at 5:00 pm.
