JOHN H. TUCKER JR., 82, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013. Born May 10 1931, in Jones boro, Ark., he was a son of the late John and Roberta Tucker. John was an avid golfer and member of the Par Tee Golf Club and also worked for GE for 27 years. Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Sandra Tucker; daughters, Tracy Tucker, Tammy Tucker and Tonya Norman; son, Kurt (Cindy) Powell; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. John loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also loved holding babies. Funeral service is 5 p.m. Friday at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6600 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior. Memorials to the Alzheimer's Association , American Cancer Society , or the A.S.P.C.A.
