Jon David Kaper

Jon David Kaper, 22, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born in Kalamazoo, MI and graduated from Homestead High School in 2017. Jon was an avid Ohio State fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He adored his little sisters and was the greatest big brother. His friends meant the world to him and he will be missed greatly. Surviving are his parents, Chris and Marie (Quellos) Benefiel; father, Robert (Keela) Kaper; sisters, Aubree and Marisa Benefiel, Isabel Kaper, Abby Prolo; grandparents, MaryAnn Quellos, Dave and Ethel Kaper, Martisia King, Mike (Judee) Benefiel; uncle, John Quellos and little cousin Jayden; uncles, Keith (Angel) Kaper and Karl (Colleen) Kaper; bestfriend, Khoi Ngo; several aunts, uncles, cousins; and a host of close friends including "The Boys". Jon was also preceded in death by his grandfather, Jon Quellos. Visitation from 12pm to 4pm on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home.
