Josephine "Jo” Mae (McCann) Kesterke

Josephine "Jo" Mae (McCann) Kesterke, 89, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 at her home in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in Creston, IA, to the late James and Thelma McCann. Josephine moved to Fort Wayne in 1959 and worked as a District Manager with Fort Wayne Newspaper for over 20 years. She was compassionate, kind, generous and a most forgiving person. Josephine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and was motherly to all that needed a friend. She will be missed by those who loved her most. Surviving are her children, Martin R. Kesterke of Fort Wayne, IN; John L. Kesterke of CA; Joseph Daniel Kesterke of Fort Wayne, IN; Michael David Kesterke of Madison, WI: Richard Paul Kesterke of Huntertown, IN; Katherine A. Gabbard of Pierceton, IN; Brian F. Kesterke of Fort Wayne, IN; Shawn H. Kesterke of Fort Wayne, IN; Cheryl L (Randy) Hoium of Fort Wayne, IN; William E. Kesterke of Fort Wayne, IN and 11 grandchildren. Josephine was preceded in death by husband, Robert Martin Kesterke, sons, Robert C. and Byron James Kesterke, sisters, Mary McNally, Margaret Kincade, Alice Redeye, Bernice McCann, brothers, James and John Michael McCann. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am Saturday, August 18, 2018 at St. Henry Catholic Church, 2929 E Paulding Rd. Fort Wayne, IN with calling one hour prior.
