Joyce Lynette Emenhiser, 75, of Fishers, Indiana, formerly of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 05, 2025. She was born on June 21, 1950 in Fort Wayne, the daughter of late Robert and Alice (Heckman) Klingel. Throughout her life she worked in Fort Wayne at Lincoln Life Insurance Company, Unity Lutheran School, the United States Postal Service, and most recently, Park Center. In her free time, Joyce enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She spent many hours at the baseball, soccer, and football fields watching sports, and was involved in several groups with friends where she enjoyed activities such as playing cards, softball and bowling.
Surviving family include her sons, Marc (Georgi) Emenhiser, and Matthew (Marli) Emenhiser; grandchildren, Makoy, Drew, and Sutton; great-grandchildren, Rowan, and Grayson. She is also survived by her sister, Sharon Marks; her nephew, Sean Marks; her niece, Tami Langston; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be 1 pm on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 2131 Getz Rd, Fort Wayne, with a gathering of family and friends one hour prior. Joyce’s final resting place will be Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorials in her name may be made to Prairie Lakes Health Campus, Noblesville, Indiana.
