Julie Shields

Julie Shields, 60 died on Saturday, May 19, 2018. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Sue and Tom Stock. Julie proudly graduated from Bishop Luers High School. She worked at Lincoln National Bank for many years and volunteered for the Christ Child organization. Her hobbies included sewing, cross stitching, and other crafts. She especially enjoyed making things for friends and family. Julie will be remembered for her quick wit and sense of humor, her beautiful smile, and kind heart. Julie enjoyed time with her family but especially time with the love of her life, her husband Michael. They enjoyed traveling, fishing, and spending winters in Florida and summers in Georgian Bay, Canada. Julie was blessed with many friends in her life but especially a group of friends that stem back to her years at Ball State. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael; brother, Chris (Lori) Stock of Fort Wayne; sister, Amy Stock of Fort Wayne; aunt, Marianne (Chuck) Porter; cousin, Judy (Dick) Hein; brother-in-law, Tim (Beth) Shields; sister-in-law, Patty (Michael) Khorshid; and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am, May 30, 2018 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 2130 Pemberton Drive with calling an hour prior to the Mass. Calling at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Tuesday, May 29, 2018, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Rosary at 3:30 pm.
