Kandie K. Magnuson

Kandie Kay Magnuson was welcomed to Heaven on January 9, 2021 at age 64. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded in love after a graciously brief battle with cancer. She was born to Jerry and DeeAnn Knight on June 27, 1956. After graduating from high school, Kandie followed her heart and chased her dreams by marrying her husband, fellow horse lover, Dana Magnuson. Together, they had 3 children: Arene, John, Cullan, and 6 beautiful grand-babies. Kandie had many talents, but mostly, her love language was cooking. We all have fond memories of her in the kitchen continuously working to create meals, snacks, and memories that we will hold dear. She also loved her painting, crafting, and sewing. She was always the hardest worker in the room, rarely idle. Her heart belonged to Jesus and she lived her life striving to be Christ-like. She taught her children by example. This example and many memorable stories will continue on for future generations of her family. Her family and friends take comfort in knowing she went unafraid and sure. No doubt there was an enormous smile upon her face as she heard, “Welcome home my loved one, well done.” We’ll see you in the barn, Mama. A private family funeral service will be held for Kandie.
