Karen loved spending time with her family, especially on the beach where she could search for shells and sit by the ocean. Karen’s passions included tending to her flowers, finding ways to express her creativity, and collecting everything mid-century modern. She never missed a good garage sale, flea market, or estate sale.
Karen’s highly successful 25-year career in advertising began with GTE Directories Corporation where she remained through many organizational and industry-wide changes. Along the way, Karen won countless awards, incentive trips, and accolades. After leaving advertising Karen started her own successful estate sale business and helped families in need of her specialized support and expertise.
She is preceded in death by her father, James F. Irey, and mother Marcella (Selkman) Irey.
Karen is survived by her husband of 35 years, Tim Holly; daughters Meg Cazarez (Edd), Gabby Holly (David Reilly); and son Hudson Holly, at home; sisters Annmarie Miller, Michelle Nowak (David), and Laura Irey (Ronnie Queen); and stepmother Patricia (Roy) Irey.
Funeral Mass 11:00 AM Friday, January 26, 2024 at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 1502 East Wallen Road (46825) with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also 3:00 to 7:00 PM at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley, 1320 East Dupont Road (46825) Thursday, January 25, 2024. Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery.
