Karla Kay May, 58, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Karla completed her Bachelor's degree from Milligan College. She began her career as a teacher with Beardstown Christian Academy in Beardstown, IL, later becoming the principal. In 1998, she moved back to Fort Wayne and served as the Director of Children's Ministry at Christ's Church Fort Wayne. Most recently Karla worked for Taylor Made Systems in Kendallville, IN. Surviving are her four siblings, Karen (Dennis) Albro of Spencerville, IN, Kevin (Donna) May of Valparaiso, IN, Karol (Mike) King of Lebanon, IN, and Kim (Matthew) Seevers of Auburn, IN; 11 loving nieces and nephews; and 10 great-nieces and great-nephews. Karla was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Dixie May. Service is 4:00 pm, Friday, February 2, 2018 at Christ's Church Fort Wayne, 3131 Maplecrest Rd (please use door 1) with calling one hour prior. Calling also Thursday, February 1, 2018, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the church (please use door 4). Memorials may be made to Christ's Church Fort Wayne or Beardstown Christian Academy.
