Keith Michell

Keith Michell, 79 years old, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. He was born in Fort Wayne, the son of the late James S. and Cecile (Morrow) Michell.

Keith served in the United States Army in Korea during the Vietnam War, and retired from his 38-year career as a Food Sales Representative for J.P. Foodservice, in 2006. He was also a long-time and active member of Forest Park United Methodist Church, of which his parents were founding members.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Sue Ann (Weber) Michell. He is survived by his daughter, Karen (Carter) McLaughlin of Huntertown, IN; sons, Donnie (Kelly) Michell, Steven (Angela) Michell, both of Fort Wayne, IN; brother, Bob (Maurine) Michell of Garden Grove, CA; sister, Sharon (Pedro) Ledo of Fort Wayne, IN; and his 8 grandchildren: Jacey & Miley McLaughlin, Weber, Emma, Laney, & Chloe Michell, and Haley & Fisher Michell.

A funeral service to honor Keith's life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also take place from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
