

Kenneth E. “Ken” Strahan, 59, of Fort Wayne passed away June 2, 2013. He was born on April 29, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri, to Larry and Lucile (Stolte) Strahan. He worked for 27 years at Fort Wayne Developmental Center before retiring. He also worked for Kroger’s and volunteered at Lutheran Hospital. He was a member of Waynedale Baptist Church where he went on a number of missionary trips. He enjoyed drawing, playing euchre, driving, traveling, fishing, bonfires, grilling, the lake; really anything outdoors. He will most be remembered for his love for his grandchildren. Surviving family include his parents; wife, Angi Strahan; step children, Rodney (Angie) Tyler, Kenney Tyler, Kristi Cooper, Sammie (Jason) Marret; grandchildren, Cody (Kaytie) Tyler, Destiny and Desirae Tyler, Kyliegh Tyler, Jeffery Hargis, Brianna Hargis, Kateline Hargis, Shayna Hargis, Zane Marret; and sister, Susan (Joe) Walton. A funeral service will be 11:00 am, Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Waynedale Baptist Church, 633 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to NE Indiana Cancer Services.
