Kim Renee Schneider

Kim was born to the late Donald Sr. and Ruth Imel. Kim graduated from South Side High School as a member of the class of 1988.

She was a long-tenured employee in the bakery at both Scotts, which eventually became Kroger. While not devoting her time to work, she enjoyed hobbies such as painting and drawing. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, planning parties for them. Kim was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Richard Schneider Sr.; brothers, Rocky, of Bluffton, IN, and Jason, of Leo, IN; sister, Gina of Fort Wayne, IN; children, Richard Jr (Stephanie) , and Misty, both of Fort Wayne, IN; aunt Doris Campbell, of Fort Wayne, IN; grandchildren, Brian Howell, Tori Howell, Jason Schneider Jr., Cassidy Schneider, Nathan Schneider, and Cody Schneider, all of Fort Wayne, IN; and 3 great-grandchildren, Justin, Daisey, and Dakota.

Kim was predeceased by her parents Donald Sr. and Ruth Imel; brothers, Jack Imel, Lee Imel, Bob Imel, Gary Imel, Donald Imel Jr, and Edward Bellanger, all of Fort Wayne, IN; son, Jason Schneider Sr., of Fort Wayne, IN.

Funeral Service is 1:00 pm, Friday, January 17, 2025 at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes – Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN, with calling two hours prior. Interment at Lindenwood Cemetery in Fort Wayne, IN.
