Kimberly worked as a travel agent and piano instructor. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Kimberly also enjoyed crime and mystery TV shows, summer cookouts; featuring overly burnt hot-dogs, and occasional wild and zany adventures with her big sister.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Place; children, Matthew (Mary) Place, and Kate (Matt) Hensinger; four grandchildren; sister, Shelley Weltz; and brother, Brad Weltz.
A celebration of life for Kimberly will be held Friday, February 14, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Maplewood, 4017 Maplecrest Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46815.
