

Larry A. Bontempo, 63, of Fort Wayne passed away, Saturday, January 31, 2015. He was born on March 7, 1951 to the late Robert and Annette (Alspach) Bontempo, Sr. He was a graduate of South Side High School in 1969 and a graduate of International Business College. He also studied computer programming at IPFW. He was a member of Phi Kappa Rho. He was a poster child for the Allen County March of Dimes. He loved baseball and camping. Larry also enjoyed sports at a young age even after being diagnosed with polio. Surviving family include his siblings, Anna (Michael) Hardiek, Katherine (Joe) Baumgartner, Paul Bontempo, Richard (Cindy) Bontempo; nieces and nephews, Donna Bender, Dean Bontempo, Andrea Bontempo, Annette Allison, David Baumgartner, Angela Thompson, Jason Bontempo, Courtney Bontempo, Clinton Bontempo, Laura Annis, Amy Bontempo, Valerie Seymore, Paula Bontempo-Mullins, Michael Hardiek Jr., Marcus Hardiek, Andrew Hardiek, Nicholas Hardiek, Norman Hardiek, Jeffery Seale, Joshua Seale, Drew Bontempo, Christine Bontempo, 25 Great Nieces and Nephews, 1 Great Great Nephew. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his siblings, Robert Bontempo, Jr., Stephen Bontempo, Wendy Seale; and nephew Christopher Vebert. A private family service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse at www.vnfw.org.
