LAURA "KATIE" McCOY KLINE, 90, of Fort Wayne, died on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at Heritage Park Nursing Home. Born Aug. 21, 1923, in Bell County, Ky., she was a daughter of the late Hickory Grace and Laura Phipps Grace. She was a factory worker at Shambam for nine years and also worked at Eavey's Grocery store for many years. Surviving are her daughter, Nancy K. (Al) Barrand of Fort Wayne; sons, Charles T. McCoy of Fort Wayne and Daniel L. McCoy of Muncie, Ind.; sisters, Irene Sowder of Vancouver and Geraldine Lumpkins of Lexington, Ky.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and daughter-in-law, Karen McCoy. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, James McCoy, in 1980; second husband, Robert Kline, in 1990; 17 siblings l. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014, at C.M.
