Leo E. Storey

LEO E. STOREY, 82, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at St. Joseph Hospital. Born March 19, 1929, he was the son of the late Charles Ralph and Mary (Gfellar) Storey. He retired from Dana Corp., in 1991, after 36 years of service. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in New Haven and the Eagles. He was also an avid Komet Hockey fan. Surviving are daughter, Nanette (Henry) Baker of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren, including Tina Craig of For Wayne; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and three sisters, Barbara Gerardot, Carol Kless and Judy Vaschon all of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence; son, Daniel McCord; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; two brothers; and one sister. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven with visitation two hours prior. Fr. James Seculoff officiating. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials to the family.
