

Leslie Wayne McClurg, 91, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. He was born in Fort Wayne, IN, to the late Nelson Daniel and Frances Edna McClurg. Wayne was a WWII US Army veteran. He worked as a Warehouse Supervisor with SuperValue for 36 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church and American Legion Post #47 and former little league coach for Pure Seal Dairy. His hobbies included woodworking, craft making, gardening and oil painting. Surviving are his children Colleen M. McClurg of Fishers, IN; Daniel J. (Pam) McClurg, Kevin P. (Kay) McClurg both of Huntertown, IN; Barry W. (Margaret) McClurg of Rome City, IN; Brian S. (Connie) McClurg of Huntertown, IN; Thomas N. (Debora) McClurg of Columbia City, IN; James "Andy" (Carol) McClurg of Columbia City, IN; son, Mark A. (Tara) McClurg of Laotto, IN; 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren . Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Marjorie L McClurg, brothers, Donald B. and Gerald E. McClurg, sisters, Marjorie J. Grimme, and Barbara McClurg. Service is 10:30 am, Wednesday February 28, 2018 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with calling one hour prior. Calling also Tuesday, February 27, 2018, from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Private Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
