Lindsey Delgado

Lindsey Delgado, age 18, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. She was born August 12, 2004 to Mayra Rodriguez and Gerardo Delgado in Cartersville, Georgia. Lindsey lived in Georgia until she was 3 yrs old, and then moved to Fort Wayne where she would spend the remainder of her life.

At age 5 her personality blossomed, she would always ask questions in school. She'd never hesitate to raise her hand or say what's on her mind. As she got older she became this magnet; she'd make friends everywhere she went . . . at work, at school, and everywhere.

On June 17, Lindsey was admitted to the hospital due to an automobile accident. She was in a sedative state when her sister and mother arrived; Lindsey slipped into a coma prior to passing away.

We lost a daughter, a niece, a granddaughter, but most importantly she was a friend.

Mass of Christian Burial is 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2023, at St. Henry Catholic Church, 2929 East Paulding Rd., with calling one hour prior. Friends and family will also be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Mungovan Chapel, 2114 S. Calhoun St. Interment at Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne.
