Louis J. "Butch" Hartmann, 76, of Fort Wayne, died on Thurday, May 24, 2012 at Parkview Hospital. A life long resident of Fort Wayne, he retired from Falstaff Brewery after 30 years and from Allen County Maintainence after 17 years. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 57 yearsh, Bonnie L. Hartman; three sons, Thomas J. (Amy R.) Hartman, David A. (Tammy) Hartman, and Michael R. (Kim) Hartman; two daughters, Deborah L. (Bart) Weldon, and Pamela S. (Lonnie) Lemons; granddaughters, Lisa, Angie, Sara, and Laura Weldon, Alicia Lemons, and Jenna Hartman; grandson, Jacob Hartman; brother, Paul; and three sisters, Katie, Janet, and Carol.
Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home, 1327 North Wells Street, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, May 28, 2012, at the funeral hom. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
Prefered memorials to the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association, or Parkview Hospice.
