

Lucile M. Gelzleichter, 91, of Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011. She was born on November 27, 1919 to the late Lawrence and Matilda (Rumslag) Braun. She worked as a homemaker and was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Yoder and also their Rosary Society. She enjoyed spending her time doing needle point. Surviving family include her children, Kathy (Kevin) Ethier of Mishawaka, IN, Ken (Cathy) Gelzleichter of Lewisville, TX, Jim (fiancé-Sally) Gelzleichter of New Haven, Dave (Carolyn) Gelzleichter of Poe, Tom (Toma) Gelzleichter of Brisbane, CA; siblings, Sally Minick, Alice Ulman, Joanne Mowery, Bill Braun; 13 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Gelzleichter; siblings, Vera Krugh, Irene Schmenk, Sister Joyce Braun, John and Richard Braun.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 am Thursday, October 27, 2011 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church 14623 Bluffton Rd., Yoder with Msgr. Bernard Galic officiating. Visitation will be from 3-8 pm on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Ft Wayne with a rosary service at 7:30 pm. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Masses or Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home.
