Luis Mario Sifuentes Rodriguez

Luis Mario Sifuentes Rodriguez, 75, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Lutheran Hospital. Born July 19, 1946 in Sabinas Hidalgo Nuevo Leon Mexico, he was a son of the late Luis Mariano Sifuentes and Maria Del Jesus Rodriguez. A hard worker, Luis retired from Ellison Bakery after 10 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed singing, socializing, cookouts with family and friends, and tending to his yard. He was very active, joyful, happy, and dressed very well. He treasured the time he spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Flor E. Escamilla Sifuentes of Fort Wayne; children, Maria Elizabeth Sifuentes (Juan Antonio Flores), Jorge Alvaro Sifuentes (Karina Delgado), Hilda I. Abrego, Luis M. Sifuentes (Marisela Delgado), and Francisco Roel Sifuentes (Patricia Sifuentes); 27 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Olga Sifuentes (Omar Gomez), and Guadalupe Saucedo (Jose Garcia); and brother-in-law, Gilberto Saucedo. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Ramona Saucedo, Isabel Saucedo, Manuel Saucedo, Pedro Contreras, and Rosa Saucedo. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., on August 18, 2021 at Advantage Mungovan Funeral Home, 2114 South Calhoun Street, Fort Wayne.
