Lynda Elaine Christlieb

Lynda Christlieb, a beloved mother, wife, and cherished friend, passed away at her home on March 16, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on June 3, 1943 to the late James and Genevieve (née Burns) Oddou, Lynda was a kind and gentle soul who touched the lives of all who knew her with her warm heart, generous spirit, and infectious laughter.

For 42 years, Lynda dedicated her professional life to Magnavox/Raytheon; in retirement, she continued to serve her community with the same devotion, working for 13 years at Trinity Episcopal Church, where her kindness and commitment to others left a lasting impact.

Lynda’s volunteer work was also a significant part of her life. She served as the St. Vincent Boy Scout Committee Secretary for 17 years, working tirelessly to support young people in her community. Her devotion to service was evident in everything she did, and she was always ready to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed.

Above all, Lynda will be remembered for her warmth, gentleness, and her amazing laugh that could light up a room. She had an innate ability to make everyone around her feel valued and loved, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Lynda is survived by her son, David Christlieb; grandsons, John Harper and David (Tayler) Hancock; sister, Lona Antil; and many special grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and multiple great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 52 years, Larry Christlieb. Their enduring love served as a shining example of commitment and devotion. Lynda’s love for her family was immeasurable, and she cherished her role as a mother, wife, aunt and grandmother above all else.

Mass of Christian Burial is 11 AM, Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Road, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Friends and family will also be received on Tuesday, March 25 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne. Interment at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
