Lynette Habegger

Lynette Habegger, 85, of Fort Wayne, went to be with her Heavenly Father, Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Story Point West. She was born on September 5, 1936 in Berne to the late Calvin and Henrietta (Sprunger) Nussbaum. Ms. Habegger was a Co-Founder in L. H. Carbide Industries in Fort Wayne. Lynette spent many years as a volunteer with Lutheran Hospital. She enjoyed her volunteer work, loved animals, feeding birds, playing the piano; but most of all, she loved and prayed for her family, putting her children and grandchildren above all else. She is survived by her children, Joanne (Bruce) Emerick, Rick Habegger and Brad (Christine) Habegger; grandchildren, Bryce (Abby) Emerick, Cari (David) Mansfield, Brendan (Nichol) Habegger, Andrew Habegger, Kristen (Robbie) Boswell, Mo (Laura) Emerick and Noelle (Oleg) Brown; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne. For those unable to attend the service in person, a live stream of the service will be available on the funeral home Facebook page. Calling will be from 10 AM to 11:30 AM before the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Habegger will be entombed in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
