Madolyn Reid Fisher

Madolyn R. Fisher, 78, of Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home. She was born March 20, 1934 in Shelburn, Indiana, daughter of Walter C. and Verda M. (Brown) Reid. Retired from Pancner Psychiatric Services after 29 years. Long-time member of Emmanual Lutheran Church where she served as a Stephen Minister and member of the Altar Guild. She is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 60 years, Robert D. Fisher; daughters Janet L. Fisher of Des Plaines, Illinois; and Cathleen R. Elkins of Fort Wayne; son Robert M. (Janice) Fisher of Fort Wayne; her grandchildren Lindsay (Lee) Brown of Fort Riley, Kansas; Travis R. Fisher, Abby L. Fisher and Jacob S.Elkins all from Fort Wayne; great-grandchildren Maddison, Cayden, Khloe; brother Max K. Reid of Interlachen, Florida, and several nieces and nephews.

The Celebration of Life is at 11:00 am, Friday, May 11, 2012 at Emmanual Lutheran Church, 917 W. Jefferson Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana with visitation with the family one hour before the service.
