Madonna Jeanne Simcoe, 81, of Fort Wayne , Indiana entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, passing peacefully at her home with her loving husband Steve by her side.
Born on February 17, 1944, in Memphis, Tennessee, Jeanne lived a life devoted to Christ, her family, and serving others. She was married to the love of her life, Steven Ervin Simcoe, for 47 blessed years. Together, they built a marriage grounded in faith, grace, and an unwavering love for one another.
Jeanne is also survived by her son, Dennis Hosler, and his wife, Angela. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Monica (Angelo), Justin (Taffie), and Josh, and a cherished great-grandmother to Monica’s children—Falicity, Alejandro, Salena, and Avayah; Justin’s children—Haven and Mackenna; and Josh’s children—Arianna, Lilah, and Josh Jr.
She was also a loving stepmother to Chad Simcoe and Heather (Clark) Lichty. Through Chad, she was a step-grandmother to Jeremy Smith and Cassidy (Alex) Angelmyer, and a step-great-grandmother to Colton, Gideon, and Eli. Through Heather, she was a step-grandmother to Faith, Luke, and Alexa.
Jeanne was a faithful member of Fellowship Missionary Church. Her heart was devoted to sharing God’s love—whether through a warm smile, a kind word, or a helping hand. She was a prayer warrior, encourager, and a living example of a Proverbs 31 woman—gracious, strong, and steadfast in her walk with the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donna and Eugene Davis; her brother, Larry Davis; and her beloved great-granddaughter, Cloey Saalfrank.
Her family and friends will remember her for her generosity, kindness, and ability to make everyone feel loved. While her loved ones mourn her passing, they take great comfort in knowing she is now rejoicing in the presence of Jesus and reunited with those who have gone before her.
A celebration of Jeanne’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Fellowship Missionary Church in her honor.
