Margaret E Stettler

MARGARET E. STETTLER, 94, of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Saint Anne Home. Born Feb. 19, 1923 in Buffalo, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Michael Parot and Theresa (Scott) Parot- Gustin. She was a homemaker and after her family was raised, she had worked as a bookkeeper for Light & Breuning and as a secretary at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. She enjoyed many things, including fishing, spending time at the lake and putting puzzles together. She is survived by her children, Karen (Richard - Deceased) Shuler of Fort Wayne, Marilyn (John) O'Rourke of Fort Wayne, Stephen (Sheilah) Stettler of San Leandro, Calif., Daniel (Sandra) Stettler of Fort Wayne, and Mark (Brenda) Stettler of Fort Wayne; 21 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brothers, Eugene Parot of Manchester, N.J. and Peter Parot of Indianapolis; and sister-in-law, Betty Gustin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marion F. Stettler in 1993; and siblings, Michael, Edward, Dorothy, Judith, Harvey, and Bill. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2017 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne )IN 46819) with visitation one hour prior. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Catholic Charities.
