Marguerite Eunice Boykin

Marguerite Eunice Boykin was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on July 11, 1950. She was the daughter of James A. and Consuela Boykin. She departed this life at the age of 74 on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Canterbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Marguerite accepted Christ at early age and baptized. She worked for Fort Wayne State Developmental Center as a facilitator until its closure.

In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and loved ones. She will be most remembered for her loving and gentle spirit.

Left to cherish her memory include, her son, Edmund Turner; brother, Jason Boykin; sisters, Gina Boykin and Stephanie Holford; grandchildren, Christine (Turner) Smith, Jasmyn Caldwell, Juane Caldwell, Ashley Wade, Tre’Von Turner, Dashawn Turner, Jalen Turner,Ashley Moore, Brandy Moore, Kenosha Shepherd, Timothy Green, Tierra Miles, Sharonda Shields, Sharon Shields, Miami McDonald and Emani Wilson along with a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Marguerite was preceded in death by her parents, James A. Boykin and Consuela Hill; son, Tracey Turner; a grandson, Thomas Davis and a very special aunt, Debra "Debbie" Burnett.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Marguerite will be held Friday, May 9, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Foster Park, 6301 Fairfield Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
