MARIA GARCIA, 92, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday, Sept. 30, 2013. She was born on Oct. 20, 1920, in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico. She is survived by three brothers; one son, Jose Garcia (Gloria); four daughters, Gloria Norma (Jose) Resendez, Maria Enriqueta (Marcos) Gonzales, Anita "Chacha" (James) Prosise, and Maria Guadalupe (Oscar - deceased) Hernandez; 25 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Garcia; son, Carlos Garcia; four grandsons, Jose and Joey Garcia, Scott and Andrew Prosise; one sister; and five brothers. Service is 1 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2213 Brooklyn Ave., with visitation one hour prior to service. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at C.M.
