Marjorie J. Clendenen, 85, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on November 5, at her home. A native of Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Alma Beck. A member of Anthony Wayne First Church of God, she was a property manager for Hunter Property Management, retiring in 1992. After retiring she went on to volunteer with, and serve, as director of the Anthony Wayne Church Mission House, an outlet for the Associated Churches Food Bank, for several years. She is survived by her sons; Dave (Beth), Dan (Karen), and Tom (Becky) Clendenen, all of Fort Wayne, eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Capt. Homer Clendenen in 1972, and sister Ruth Mary Parkison-Koenig, in 2012. Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, November 10, at Anthony Wayne First Church of God, 6012 South Bend Drive, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior at church. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling will also be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM on Friday November 9, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne.Memorial donations may be given to Anthony Wayne First Church of God, Fort Wayne.
