

She was born September 7, 1928 in Fort Wayne, IN, to the late Vaughn B. and Wilma I. (Lemar) Sloniker.
Marjorie graduated from Northside High School and became a beautician later in life. She also worked for Starcraft in Topeka, IN and Tokheim in Albion, IN.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved reading, sewing, quilting, cake decorating and music. She especially enjoyed singing. She and her sister Phyllis, grew up singing together and continued to serve the Lord with their gift of music throughout their lives. She was a choir director for the adult, youth, and children’s choir in her church at one time in her life and later enjoyed singing in the choir at Sugar Grove Church of God.
Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Miller, and Renee (Dave) Colbert; twin granddaughters, Lindsay (Michael) Yoho, and Lisa (Kevin) Chester; and five great-granddaughters: Natalie, Makaylin, Lillian, Lucy, and Lakota.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Miller; sons; Ivan Miller Jr., and Stephen Miller; and sister, Phyllis Bilger.
Funeral Service is at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN, with calling one hour prior. The family will also receive friends and family from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, June 8, 2026 at the funeral home.
