Marketta Denise Jones, 39, passed away Friday, June 23, 2022, at her home in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born August 14, 1982, in Fort Wayne, the daughter of Lowell Jones and Ileen Jones, who preceded her in death.
Marketta attended South Side High and earned her GED from East Wayne Street Center. She is survived by her children, Nigel Jones of San Antonio, TX; Markese Jones, Charlene Jones, Ka’Nija’ Jones, Terrell Harris, all of Indianapolis, IN; father, Lowell Jones of Fort Wayne, IN; brother, Tony Jones of Dora, AL; and her aunt, Charlene Jones of Indianapolis, IN.
A funeral service to honor Marketta's life will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. She will be laid to rest at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
