

MARVIN R. GRAMLING, 93, passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, at Meadowbrook Senior Living, in Fishers. Born in Auburn, Ind., he graduated from Auburn High School. Marvin was a World War II Navy veteran and was proud to serve his country. He was an electrician and worked in maintenance with Dana for 40 years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge in Auburn, Eastern Star 432, and American Legion Post 47. Surviving are his daughter, Sally (Tom) Richardson of Indianapolis, Ind.; sister, Anita "Sally" Hille of Marietta, Ohio; grandchildren, Nicole (Johnnie) Kuebler, Danielle (Dan ) McGillen, John (Melissa) Gramling, Matt Richardson, Holly (Jeremiah) Oden, Emily Richardson, and Sarah Richardson; five great-grandchildren; and special friend, Mona Walker of Fishers, Ind. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Keith and Dorothy Gramling; his loving wife of 55 years, Hazel Gramling; son, Jack A. Gramling; and daughter, Susie Brillhart. Service is 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, with calling two hours prior. The Rev. Maurice Robinson officiating. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to Paradigm Living Concepts "Hospice".
