Dr. Marvin Arthur Peterson PhD, age 93, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at West Minster Village North in Indianapolis. He was the son of the late Arthur and Regina Peterson. He was born in Dearborn Michigan August 25, 1930. He obtained his PhD from The Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn in 1960. He was a polymer chemist for General Electric for 33 years and achieved 24 US patents.
Marvin was preceded in death by his wife Fern Owens Peterson of 58 years. He is survived by daughter Susan (Matt) Schenkel and son Greg (Brenda) Peterson. 9 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
A visitation for Marvin will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46804, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery;
