Mary Juanita Broyles, 92, of Fort Wayne is now resting in the arms of Jesus as she passed to her heavenly home on Thursday, September 22. She was born to the late Winlock and Trulie Nelson on April 22, 1924, in Markwick, Kentucky.
Mary was a devoted mother and pastor's wife. She lived in the same home for 52 years. Mary was memorable to all she met and loved by family and friends. She worked in security at Lutheran Hospital for several years.
She is survived by her sons Timothy (Linda) Broyles; Jack Broyles Jr.; Samuel (Dawn) Broyles; daughter Donna Kay Burks; 9 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack Broyles Sr., daughter Mary Carolyn Goldwyn, and grandson David Goldwyn.
Funeral service will be on Monday, September 26, 2016, at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells Street, at 1:00 p.m. with calling 1 hour prior. Calling will be on Sunday, September 25, 2016, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Burial at Prairie Grove Cemetery. Memorials to American Cancer Society.
