Mary E. Schaefer Moss

MARY E. (SCHAEFER) MOSS, 75, of Fort Wayne, died on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Parkview Regional Hospital. Born Nov. 12, 1937, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Louise H. Schaefer and Lydia P. (Ohnesorge). She graduated from Arcola high School in 1956. "She loved spending time with her family and was known for her 'sugar cookies'." She performed clerical work for Blume - Connelly Law Firm and was a member of Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church and School. Surviving are her sons, Kerry A. Moss of Fort Wayne and Kevin (Julie) Moss of South Carolina; sister, Karen A. (John) Phillips of Fort Wayne; and brothers, Kenneth J. Schaefer and Melvin H. (Helen) Schaefer, both of Fort Wayne. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Donald Schaefer. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Monday at Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church and School, with calling from noon to 1 p.m. Pastor Robert Mueller officiating. Calling also from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., Fort Wayne. Burial in Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery. Preferred memorials to Moss Grandchildren Trust Fund.
