Mary Louise Mundt, 90, was called home to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born June 27, 1934, in Fort Wayne, IN, the daughter of the late Edward Frederick and Esther Christine Kintz.
Mary attended Central High School in Fort Wayne. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother and homemaker. She enjoyed spending time at Royer Lake with the family, playing bingo and word search puzzles.
She is survived by her children, Vicki Hack, Diana Wheeler, Cheryl (Rick) Orr, Carol Mueller, and Betty (Tim) Wheaton; 26 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 7 great great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Richard Leroy Mundt, brother, Joseph Kintz, sisters, Betty Paulus, Jeanette Sallows, sons-in-law, Roy Hack Jr., James Wheeler and a great-grandson, Nash Wheeler.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, April 11, 2025, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1126 South Barr Street, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday April 10, 2025, at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley Park, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN. Burial at Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
