When election day rolls around, I think of you .  I had to stop working the election and i miss the many people that i have met, including your husband.  meet up with you later, i'm too busy now.

I just talked to Charlene Wolfe, Bud Pyle's cousin and learned of Mary's passing. when I was little our family attended the Open Door Church which was held in the Geiger home. Mary was 3 years older but we were close as youngsters. we kept in touch in our adult years even as I taught in Okinawa and in Medellin, Colombia. I visited her and Bud several times. I play the piano and organ at St Mark's in Monroeville. she filled in for me on the organ one Sunday. I was sorry to hear of her passing and wanted to Express my condolences to the family members.

Mom, You taught me so many things...Manners, Respect, Music and to Love Church & Jesus as my Lord and Savior.  You had such a fun loving nature.  You will be missed every day!  No more Sh t ! Love Cindy Belle

I work with Mary on election day for several years, she was wonderful to work with and i enjoyed  it when i called her and said not to forget to bring the delived eggs.  All of the election workers brought different things and we talked and ate our way thru the slow times.


Our prayers are with you during this difficult time.  Mary was a ray of sunshine at Good Shepherd where we met.   We admired her tenacity in dealing with Bud's illness, always encouraging  him and those around them.

Mary Pyle was a wonderful person, caring nurse and one of the reasons I became a nurse myself. She will be missed.

My mom has many good memories of your mom, when your mom was the nurse at Village Elementary.  And I remember your mom playing the organ at covenant united Methodist church, beautiful music.

I first met Mary at a Parkview Seniors Club birthday party. She and her friends (couples shown with her at Disney in photo) attended the birthday parties monthly and always sat at the same table. Oh they were a rowdy group and had so much fun. In the years following, Mary and my paths would cross while shopping or attending a community activity. She was also a member of Parkview's Ambassadors (retirees group) where I would see her. She was such a kind, gentle and classy lady. She will be missed by many, I'm sure. My sympathy to all her family and friends.

Prayers and condolences for the Pyle family -- neighbors in Eastland Gardens and church family at Epworth UMC as well as Good Shepherd UMC,  The Friedley family has wonderful memories of organ and piano music shared by our father (Jay) and Mary over the decades -- Mary was always his favorite musical duet partner.  Again, please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during these challenging times.  Our parents are now both in a local nursing home with quite limited access during this pandemic as they struggle with dementia.  Though they could no longer process your loss, please know the Friedley family (Jay, Phyllis, Sheryl & Nan) are keeping you in our prayers.  We have been  blessed by your presence in our lives.
