Mary Ann Bauman Ruprecht Taylor, 94, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Parkview Hospital Randallia, in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born October 14, 1927 in Merrill, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Frances and Henry Bauman.
Mary Ann graduated from Our Lady of the Holy Cross Catholic High School. She married Dennis Ruprecht in 1948 and raised four children together, until his passing in 1993. The family moved to Fort Wayne in 1963. Mary Ann worked for Walgreen Drug Store for 36 years and retired in 2002. She is survived by her children, Dennis (Kathy) Ruprecht, Michael (Jennifer) Ruprecht, Margaret (Michael) Stark, Patrick (Brenda) Ruprecht, all of Fort Wayne, IN; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her first husband, Dennis Ruprecht, second husband of 12 years, William Taylor; brothers, Carl, Leo, Stanley Bauman; and sisters, Carol VanErt and Shirley Hummerding.
A private funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, with a private burial to follow at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
