MICHAEL STEVEN LYNN HANSEN, 64, of Fort Wayne, died on Saturday, March 13, 2010, 5:55 p.m., at his residence. Born on April 14, 1945, in Fort Wayne, the son of Anthony F. and Amelia V. (Heide) Hansen, he worked at Sears as a Flooring Sales Associate for nine years, retiring in 2002. Previously, he was the owner of M. Hansen & Son Carpet Installation and Service in Fort Wayne, from 1969 to 1989. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Rose (Pratt) Hansen of Fort Wayne; three children, Jeff S. Hansen of Fort Wayne, John C. Hansen of Howe and Michele M. (William) Wagner of Fort Wayne; three grandchildren, Justin R. Wagner, Morgan Hansen and Max Hansen; brother, Robert (Linda) Hansen of Fort Wayne; and sister, Catherine Georgi of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Josephine Hansen and Betty Haslett; and brother, Francis Hansen. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, with visitation one hour prior to service at the church. Visitation also from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 West Wayne Street. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
