Michael "Mike" H. Harshbarger, age 84, of Hudson, Indiana passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025, surrounded by family. He was born on March 18, 1941, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late George and Jeannette (née Flack) Harshbarger. Mike graduated from Central High School, and worked in the tool and die industry prior to opening his auto dealership, Suburban Auto Sales.
Mike married the love of his life, Donna Burks, on January 21, 1967, in Fort Wayne and from this union, two children were born. He had many passions and interests, fueled by his career, including high-performance and classic automobile restoration and collecting die-cast versions, attending NASCAR races with Donna in their motorhome for over twenty years and lake life. Mike was a man of honor, integrity and intention, whether in conversation, assisting on a project or playing cornhole . . . he will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Donna; sons, Mick (Rosie) Harshbarger and Matthew Harshbarger; grandsons, Bryan (Sally) Harshbarger, and Mitchell Harshbarger; great-grandchildren, Sophie, Maggie and Patrick Harshbarger; sister, Sally Meeks; and beloved Bassett Hound, George.
Funeral Service is at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley, 1320 E. Dupont Rd, Fort Wayne with calling two hours prior. Interment will be held at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
