Michael Allen Hoeppner

Michael Allen Hoeppner, 71 of Fort Wayne, IN passed away September 8, 2018. He was born in Fort Wayne on October 7, 1946 to the late Gilbert C. and Mitzi Hoeppner. Michael was the co-owner, along with his wife Linda, of Hoosier Pride Plastics, Inc. founded in 1988. He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran, the Elks, Free Mason’s, Scottish Rite, Shriners and American Legion Post #499. Michael proudly served his country in the U S Air Force and Air National Guard. He was a graduate of Purdue University with an Engineering Degree, and obtained four U.S. patents. Michael is survived by his loving wife, Linda C. Hoeppner, daughters, Mona (Jeff) Hoeppner-Carmean, Michelle (Dennis) Hoeppner-Houlihan, granddaughter, Kyleigh Carmean, brothers, Dennis, Jeff, Phil Hoeppner and sister, Cindy Hartman. Services will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church 3425 Crescent Ave. Fort Wayne, IN with visitation there from 10 AM until the service. Additional visitation will be held on Monday, September 17th 1-3 & 5-7 PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes- Pine Valley Park 1320 E. Dupont Road Fort Wayne, IN.
