MICHAEL A. LAKE, 68, of Spencerville, died Sunday Nov. 21, 2010, at Visting Nurse & Hospice Home, with his family by his side. Born March 3, 1942, in Allen County, he was the son of the late Virgil and Marjorie (Thompkins) Lake of Fort Wayne. He retired from Navistar in 1992 after 30 years of service, and enjoyed fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, and riding his four-wheeler. He is survived by sons, Craig (Kim) Lake of Houston, Texas and Chris (Sara) Lake of Albion; daughters, Angie Lake of Angola and Stefanie (Brent) Malott of Avilla; grandchildren, Connor, Breanna, Savanna, Grant, and Cole; brothers, David (Karen) Lake of Yoder, Steven (Cindy) Lake of Fort Wayne and Terry (Arlene) Lake of Lake Tahoe, Nev.; and sister, Susan Ellison of Shreveport, La. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Lake; and a sister, Patsy Gregory. Memorial service is 4 p.m. Wednesday at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N.
