Michael T. ”Mike” Lauer, 62, of Fort Wayne, passed away on August 22, 2016. Born on August 4, 1954, in Fort Wayne he was a son of the late Albert and Phyllis Lauer; and retired from Parkview in the maintenance department. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Debra Lauer; children, Christopher (Jessica) English, Danielle (Phil) Macino and Melinda Lauer (David Dahlie) ; nine grandchildren; siblings, Steve (Sue) Lauer, Ken (Tina) Lauer and Kim (Sara) Lauer. He was a devoted husband, a caring father and grandfather.
A gathering will be held from 9am to 1pm Thursday August 25, at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Service, 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne. Inurnment will be in Highland Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association.
