Mildred was a dedicated member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church on Wayne Trace, in Fort Wayne.
She worked as a machinist and fancy packer at Wayne Candies for a total of 30 years.
Mildred loved working in the yard, gardening and tending to her flowers.
She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Melissa) Nagle, of New Haven, IN, James Nagle of Milwaukee, WI and Kenneth (Brenda) Nagle of Hoagland, IN; sisters, Gertrude Savage of Ossian, IN and Doris Holmes of Hoagland, IN; six grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Hobart W. Nagle; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Nagle; sisters, Elsie Kiefer, Marilyn Felger, Ruth Gross and Helen Baumgarte; and brothers, Harold, Gerhardt, Elmer and Richard Benzinger.
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the funeral home. Committal and burial at Highland Park Cemetery.
