Miriam R. Strasser, 94, of Fort Wayne, passed away on June 15, 2018. Born on June 17, 1923, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Lee and Miriam (Bixler) Waller; and was a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Coreen (Dale) Zelt, of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Eric (Stacey) Zelt, Krista (Tim) Moorehead, Andrew (Carrie) Zelt, and Kourtney Waikel; and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Strasser; daughter, Janelle Waikel; sister, Beth Sorgen; and brother, Luther Waller.
Funeral service will be 1:30pm, Monday, June 18, at Trinity English Lutheran Church, 450 West Washington Blvd, Fort Wayne, with calling from 11:30am, until time of service. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to Trinity English Lutheran Church, or Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, of Fort Wayne.
