Nancy M. Jordan

Nancy M. (Hicks) Jordan, age 86, drifted peacefully into the arms of the Lord in the early morning hours of May 7th, 2015. Born Aug. 29th, 1928 in Pittsburgh, PA, Nancy moved with her family to Fort Wayne as a teenager. She attended Central High School and graduated in 1946. Nancy lived for many years in Huntertown, IN and was employed by Wayne Home Equipment and later by Northwest Allen County Schools before her retirement. Nancy enjoyed crafts, collecting dolls, and spending time with her family, especially at Christmas. She will be greatly missed by her three sons: Steve (Peg) Hicks of Fort Wayne, Gary (Claire) Hicks of Columbia City and Dan (Sandy) Hicks of Fort Wayne, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James K. Jordan, a sister, Sue Brown and parents, Bill and Mildred (Cooper) Baxter. Memorials to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research at {www.michaeljfox.org}. Funeral service will be at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N.Wells St. on Tuesday May 12, 2015 at 3pm with calling 2 hours prior. Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery.
