Nancy Zollinger, 93, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on May 30, 1931, a daughter of the late Ralph and Wilma (Reidenbach) Shearer. Nancy worked at the Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing for over 24 years. She has a passion for doing puzzles, word searches, coloring, and reading the bible.
Nancy is survived by her children, Lisa (Kenneth) Meyers, Tom (Theresa) Zollinger, and Ellen (Michael) Sorg; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and brother, James Shearer. She was also preceded in passing by her husband of 63 years, Jerry Zollinger; daughter, Debra Zollinger; sons, Douglas and Randall Zollinger; and brother, Lowell Shearer.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, March 10, 2025 at Peace Lutheran Church, 4900 Fairfield Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46807 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819. Burial to follow the service at Concordia Cemetery. Contributions in Nancy's memory may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice; and Peace Lutheran Church.
