Neva Jean Stabler, 87, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away January 5, 2024, at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin, IN. She was born June 20, 1936 in Hartford City, IN, the daughter of the late Ralph Jennings and Francis Gretchen Morris.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne and a dedicated member and Past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star.
Neva Jean is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ronald L. Stabler of Franklin, IN; children, Beth Ann (Jeff) Bauer of Uniontown, OH; Brenda Stettler of Fort Wayne, IN; Bari (Mike) Robinson of Garrett, IN; Brian (Carla) Ford of Montague, MI; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Ford, in 1984 and brothers, Merval and Dannie Morris.
Funeral service will be 11:00 am Monday, January 15, 2024 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 1:00 to 5:00 pm Sunday, January 14, 2024 at the funeral home, with an Eastern Star service Sunday at 5:00 pm. Private burial in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church or Affinity Care of Indiana Hospice.
