Nicholas Keith Elias

Nicholas K Elias, 65, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at Parkview Hospital surrounded by his family. Born December 19, 1955 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Albert and Mona Elias, he graduated from Carroll High school in 1974. While at Carroll, he played football and was on the track and field team specializing in pole vaulting, setting several school records for pole vaulting. He was a carpenter and construction contractor by trade for over 45 years. He loved sports, the outdoors, white water kayaking, hiking, working in his gardens, listening to music, and entertaining family and friends around his bonfires. He loved to laugh and was never afraid to cry, he was high octane, always looking for the next adventure, and always amazing to be around. He is survived by his two sons Joshua (Jennifer) Elias and Caleb (Christina) Elias; grandchildren Amelia, Paul, Marley, Sunshine, and Bode. He is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Mona Elias, as well as his longtime partner, Mona Emmett. Celebration of Life memorial is April 18th, 2021 from 12pm to 4pm at Firehouse Reception Hall, 3322 Honway Court, Fort Wayne, IN 46806.
