NOBLE "BUD" E. WHITEMAN, 91, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at New Haven Center. He was born Feb. 8, 1925, in Fort Wayne, the son of the late Lloyd A. Whiteman and Zella M. (Walburn) Whiteman. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Koolvent Products as an Aluminum Product Installer. He was a member of American Legion Post 82, VFW Post 857, F& A.M. Lodge 210 South Whitley and Faith United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Clarabelle "Belle" (Castle) Whiteman; daughter, Deborah A. Whiteman-Hartman of Marysville, Tenn.; son, David (Jessica) A. Whiteman of Fort Wayne; granddaughter, Amber Whiteman of Fort Wayne; two great-granddaughters. Funeral Service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Denise Lapsley officiating. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial at Greenlawn cemetery.
